Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the purchase of products from Mercury Drug through its website’s Mercury Drug Online Facility.
Data Privacy Agreement
By accessing and using Mercury Drug Online, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of Mercury Drug’s Online Data Privacy Policy (www.mercurydrug.com/privacy-policy.html) for the purpose of availing of its services, administration of your account, processing of any transaction using your online account, and for other reasonable purposes which are related to your online account.
Creating an Account
If you are a new online customer, you need to create an account by providing all requested information. Your own unique Customer Code will be emailed to you on completion of your first transaction, and for subsequent transactions, you will have to log in with your assigned Customer Code.
Placing Your Order
You have three options to place your order: by category, by generic or brand name, and by order history. A pop-up confirmation will appear for each item added in your cart. All the items added in your cart will be displayed when you click ‘My Cart’ or ‘Checkout.’ You can edit, change or remove any item from your cart at any time.
By placing an order, you confirm that the details you provide in the order page are true and correct in all respects. Mercury Drug reserves the right to request additional information from you at any time to enable us to complete your order and/or to comply with government regulatory requirements.
Earning of e-Suki Points
Online orders will earn e-Suki points, which are separate and apart from the Suki points earned when buying in-store or Mercury Drug Online, using Suki Card. Details of your e-Suki points will be displayed when you view your cart. You can redeem all or part of your e-Suki points whenever you place an order.
Application of Discounts and Rebates
Promotional or government-mandated discounts will be computed at the time of serving the order, subject to presentation of required documents and proof of identity. All earned discounts will be credited to your online account and will be applied on your next online order.
Prices of Products
Prices of product/s are quoted in Philippine Peso.
Payment Terms
Payment for your order shall be made via credit or debit card. Your credit or debit card will be charged based on the total amount of the products purchased and all applicable discounts and redeemed e-Suki points. A delivery fee will be charged if you opt to have your order delivered.
Serving of Your Order
You have two options to have your order served: pick-up at your preferred Mercury Drug store or delivery to your designated address and recipient.
Pick-up Option
This is subject to the regular store hours of the serving Mercury Drug store, the details of which can be verified through our website, www.mercurydrug.com. Orders can be picked up within 24 hours. On pick-up, your designated recipient must present at least one valid I.D. as proof of identity. It is hereby understood that your designation of recipient also grants him/her the authority to name or appoint his/her representative in case he/she cannot personally claim the product/s. In such event, your designated recipient must execute a letter of authority in favor of his/her representative which must be presented on pick-up of the order. Your designated beneficiary or his/her representative shall be required to sign on the acceptance form evidencing the receipt of the order in your behalf.
A transaction receipt shall be issued upon serving/release of the order. Pick-up of orders must be completed within 7 days from date of order.
Delivery Option
Your order will be delivered to your designated recipient/address within 24 hours after receipt of your order. The recipient shall be required to sign on the acceptance form evidencing the receipt of the order.
Required documentation
A valid doctor’s prescription must be presented for orders of prescription medicines. Aside from a valid doctor’s prescription, government-mandated documents must also be presented for transactions concerning senior citizens or persons with disability (PWD) if a government-mandated discount is to be claimed. Mercury Drug reserves the right to withhold the release of any product or to deny the grant of any discount in case your designated recipient or his/her representative fails to comply with the aforesaid requirements.
Waiver and Indemnity
By using Mercury Drug’s Mercury Drug Online facility, you agree to indemnify and hold Mercury Drug, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors and licensors (collectively referred to as MDC) free and harmless from any and all liabilities, losses and damages in case of failure of the online ordering system due to reasons beyond Mercury Drug’s reasonable control such as but not limited to force majeure and/or fortuitous event or which may arise from your failure to timely notify Mercury Drug of the revocation, cancellation or change of beneficiary.
General
These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Mercury Drug and shall govern your use of Mercury Drug’s "Mercury Drug Online" facility. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
By placing your order online, you confirm that you have read and understood all the terms and conditions expressed herein and voluntarily agree to be bound thereby with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations. Mercury Drug reserves the right to refuse or suspend this service to any person at any time based on reasonable grounds at the sole discretion of Mercury Drug.
